ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — Casey’s Irish Imports was forced to close in March right before St. Patrick’s Day and in the middle of its busiest sales month of the year.

On Tuesday, it’s opening back up during what the co-owner said is its second busiest time of the year.

Customers familiar with the store along Center Ridge Road in Rocky River will have a different experience now because of coronavirus precautions.

Each employee will be required to wear masks. Sneeze guards were installed, and social distancing guidelines will be in place. The store is also heavily investing in cleaning supplies and disinfectant to help keep everyone safe.

"Everything that you have touched has been sanitized and we're doing everything we can to protect our employees and our customers," said the owner.

Casey’s Irish Imports biggest seller is jewelry. The store owner said they have a protocol in place to disinfect rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets every time they are touched.
