MENTOR, Ohio — Great Lakes Mall in Mentor has announced reopening plans following Gov. Mike DeWine’s order allowing retail establishments to open on May 12.
The mall will reopen Tuesday, May 12, with the hours of Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to call in advance for specific store information as the reopening dates for individual tenants may vary.
The Great Lakes Mall has implemented some guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, including the placement of alcohol-based sanitizer dispensers in highly-trafficked areas and walkways.
“We are inspired by the resilience of our community and look forward to safely welcoming back our guests," said Rob Dascoli General Manager at Great Lakes Mall. “We will continue to work with local, state and federal agencies to do all we can in order to contribute to the containment, treatment and prevention of COVID-19.”
The mall has also partnered with the Salvation Army of Painesville to show its support for the local community by hosting a daily food collection. Residents can drop off non-perishable items in a donation box located in the main entrance food court from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
