PENINSULA, Ohio — Mark your calendars! The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is set to start selling member tickets for the Polar Express next week.

The Polar Express will resume this fall for the 27th consecutive year and will run from Nov. 6 to Dec. 20.

“Since we’ve announced the resumption of our train rides on October 1, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive,” said CVSR President & CEO Joe Mazur. “This year membership is more important to gain early access to THE POLAR EXPRESS tickets because our reduced capacity.”

Tickets for the Polar Express can only be purchased online, here. Tickets will go on sale to members starting on Sept. 22 and will be available for non-members on Oct. 14. Tickets must be purchased in groups of four or six. Train cars will seat no more than 50% capacity.

Ticket holders will have their temperatures taken and given a COVID-19 screening questionnaire. Guests will be required to wear a mask at all times except while actively eating or drinking. The mask requirement is for anyone 2 years old and up.
