CLEVELAND — The Tide Loads of Hope program by Tide Cleaners is providing free laundry and dry cleaning services to medical workers, police officers, firefighters and their immediate family.
Janee Rodgers, a Tide Cleaners employee, said they wanted to extend their thanks to everyone on the front line.
“We are able to help them save a bit a money, while also showing appreciation for all that they’re able to do for the crisis,” she said.
On the company’s website, a statement reads: They are on the front lines ensuring our well-being and fighting the pandemic, while at times many of their family’s needs are not being taken care of.
All essential front line workers are asked to keep dry cleaning and laundry separate and bring all clothes in a bag.
Rodgers said it makes her feel proud to be helping.
“I just feel that the fact we are able to help at least first responders and, you know, as well as our other customers by being an essential business, I feel really proud of that honestly I feel that I’m a part of something a little bigger than myself,” she said.
