CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — A beloved Cleveland Heights restaurant that closed down in mid-March due to coronavirus concerns is set to reopen next week.
Tommy’s Restaurant, 1824 Coventry Road, Cleveland Heights, made the announcement on Facebook Thursday.
The restaurant will open May 4 and serve customers seven days a week from noon to 7 p.m.
Tommy's asks that all orders be paid for online or by phone (216-321-7757) to help keep its customers and employees safe as possible.
The restaurant temporarily closed on March 15 to reassess and make a plan after Gov. Mike DeWine's handed down an order that food establishments only operate as take out or delivery services. Tommy's said it is following all essential safety protocols for food service and sanitation.
“We look forward to seeing everyone and making you delicious food and milkshakes,” the restaurant stated in the Facebook post.
