Strong winds have left many across Northeast Ohio without power Sunday evening.
In Cuyahoga County, more than 9,000 customers are currently without power due to the severe weather, according to FirstEnergy.
The wind has caused trees and wires to fall across the county, leading to some of the reported outages.
In Lakewood, fallen trees on Emerson Avenue and Ferndale Avenue, as well as other locations around the city, caused widespread power outages. Crews are currently working to restore power, the city said.
More than 2,000 customers are without power in Geauga County and more than 9,000 are without power in Lake County. More than 2,00 are without power in Erie County.
In Lorain County, more than 9,000 customers are without power, but power is expected to be restored by 11:30 p.m., FirstEnergy said.
There is currently no estimated time for restoration for any other county.
