AKRON, Ohio — News 5 Cleveland is teaming up on Thursday with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, as well as the Akron Beacon Journal and WQMX, to provide meals for local families impacted by COVID-19.
Donations made to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank on Thursday will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $32,000, thanks in part to a $12,000 contribution from the Scripps Howard Foundation, the charitable arm of News 5’s parent company, E.W. Scripps.
