The Akron Zips Men's Soccer Team fell to the Maryland Terrapins 1-0 in the 2018 NCAA College Cup championship game Sunday night.

Akron had two shots on goal, but none were successful.
Maryland's winning goal was off a penalty kick from Amar Sejdic in the second half of the game.
This is Maryland's fourth national championship in the program's history.
Akron played their final minutes a man down after a red card sent Carlo Ritaccio out of the game.
