When the Cleveland Indians won the World Series in 1948, they did it against the Boston Braves at Nickerson Field.
So to send the Tribe some luck, Rhett, the mascot for Boston University, sent some of the dirt from that field to Progressive Field.
Jeremy Feador, a Cleveland Indians historian, said the dirt is going to find a new home inside the Bob Feller exhibit.
"Since Bob pitched in the '48 World Series we're going to find a spot up there and put it on display for fans," he said.
Watching this team in the postseason, they don't need any luck to win. But, hey, anything helps right?
