CLEVELAND — Danny Salazar is officially back.
He was removed from the Indians 60-day Injured List on Wednesday.
Salazar has not played in the Major League since the end of the 2017 season after undergoing right shoulder surgery.
He began his rehab assignment on June 30.
Salazar is set to get his first start since Sept. 27, 2017 on Thursday against the Astros.
The Indians designated infielder Eric Stamets for assignment after adding Salazar to the roster.
