Perez was nominated for the 2019 Rawlings Gold Glove Award in October, along with teammate Francisco Lindor.
This past season, Perez led the American League in putouts (1,082), double plays turned as a catcher (12) and caught stealing percentage (40.8 percent). He also led all of baseball with 29 defensive runs saved.
Perez, along with Lindor, are now eligible to win a Platinum Glove Award. The winner of that award will be announced on Nov. 8.
