Indians fan finds creative way to celebrate wins, losses

CLEVELAND — A Cleveland Indians fan came up with a creative way to celebrate when the Tribe wins and helps her get into better shape when they lose.

Caitlin Boron's love for the team started when her father was deployed to Iraq in 2004. Since then, she has been there for all the ups and downs of supporting the team.

But regardless of the outcome, Boron leaned on the Indians to improve herself through squats.

When the team won, she would do 50 squats, but when they lost, she doubled it to 100.

"It kept me accountable every day because obviously, the Indians play every day except for their few off days," Boron said.

Her squat challenge was more than just keeping herself accountable, it was to help with her confidence after having her son.

"Whether they win or lose. If you're going to do your squats after that game you're taking. Whatever happens and you're turning it into a positive for yourself, you're turning it into positive energy for yourself."
