CLEVELAND — Sports anchor Derek Forrest knew that News 5 viewers were missing the Indians home opener, so he decided to play it himself.
Forrest had Shane Bieber as the starting pitcher for the Tribe and Matthew Boyd as the starting pitcher for the Detroit Tigers.
Bieber had a no-hitter for seven innings.
#OpeningDay between the #Indians and #Tigers finished with the Tribe winning 4-2 on the back of @ShaneBieber19, who had a no-hitter through 7 innings. He would go the distance for the win @MLBTheShow @SonySanDiego @WEWS pic.twitter.com/4C4SA7ULrc

The Indians ended up beating the Tigers 4-2, (which we clearly knew that they would do.)
