Carrasco was activated from the 60-day injured list on Sunday for the first time since being diagnosed with leukemia.
He played in his first game on Sunday in Tampa Bay, where the crowd rose to their feet for the pitcher.
Carrasco, who was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in early June, began throwing bullpen sessions in July.
