TAMPA, Fla. — Indians starter Carlos Carrasco has been activated from the 60-day injured list, joining the active major league roster for the first time since being diagnosed with leukemia.
As Carrasco took the mound for the first time since May, all of Tropicana Field rose to their feet to give the pitcher a standing ovation.

Carrasco, who was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in early June, began throwing bullpen sessions in July.
