CLEVELAND — Your child could learn how to play basketball like one of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavs Academy is hosting multiple basketball camps for children throughout the summer.

The first camp will take place the first week of June in Gates Mills at Hawken School.

The camp is available to any child between the ages of 5 and 17.

“Our summer camps teach the skills and drills that players are practicing in the NBA. Both returning participants and new campers can expect to improve their game in an environment that encourages teamwork and camaraderie!” said Cavs Academy Head Coach Kendall Chones.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Children will learn the fundamentals of basketball, conditioning drills, play in 5-on-5 exhibitions games and in various competitions.

The camp costs $275.

Each child will get a Cavs Academy uniform, Cavs basketball, Cavs duffle bag and more.
