CLEVELAND — Cavs guard/forward Dylan Windler is receiving treatment for a fourth metacarpal fracture he sustained during the team's home opener against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.
According to the Cavs, Windler injured his wrist in the third quarter and left the game. X-rays came back negative. Later after undergoing an MRI, doctors discovered a fracture in his hand.
"Windler will now undergo a period of treatment and rehabilitation and will be re-evaluated in one week," the Cavs said. "His status will be updated as appropriate."
