CLEVELAND — Cleveland Cavaliers' power forward Kevin Love, continuing his philanthropic efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, made a special socially-distanced appearance to brighten the day of health care workers on the frontlines.
The Kevin Love Fund sent lunches to the staff at one of Cleveland Clinic’s COVID-19 testing sites as well as a Medical Intensive Care Unit.
In addition to the truckload of food sent to the Cleveland Clinic locations, Love also made a surprise appearance on FaceTime where he thanked those working tirelessly through the pandemic.
“Thank you so much for everything, all the work you guys are doing it’s really special and it’s not lost on any of us,” Love said. “I know you guys are working long hours and you have a lot of people who care for you at this time so thank you for everything, it’s amazing.”
