The Cavaliers officially signed forward Channing Frye, the team announced on Thursday.

Frye is returning to the team after he was moved in a trade package that included Isaiah Thomas to the Los Angeles Lakers in February.

Frye was part of the 2016 Cavs championship team. He has played in the NBA for 13 seasons and has averaged nine points, 4.6 rebounds and 38.7 percent 3 -point shooting for his career, according to Yahoo Sports.
