CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers have added to their roster and their collection of future draft picks in a trade with the Utah Jazz, the team announced on Friday.
As part of the latest trade, the Cavs have acquired forward Rayjon Tucker.
Tucker, who went unselected in the 2019 NBA Draft, played for the Milwaukee Bucks Summer League team before being signed to their G League affiliate team, the Wisconsin Herd. In December, Tucker signed a contract with the Utah Jazz and made his NBA debut.
In his first season in the league, Tucker played in 20 games but has yet to start in a game in his short career.
The Cavs also acquired a 2027 second-round pick as part of the trade with the Jazz.
Tucker and the future pick were acquired in exchange for cash considerations.
The Cavs have made other moves to acquire future draft picks, recently trading Jordan Bell and Alfonzo McKinnie to the Los Angeles Lakers and acquiring JaVale McGee and a 2026 second-round draft pick.
