First, Kevin Love got an elbow to the face and his front tooth knocked back during Tuesday night's game against the Miami Heat. Now, due to his concussion-like symptoms from the incident, he will not be playing in Wednesday night's game in Charlotte.
Love was further evaluated Wednesday morning and placed in concussion protocol. His status will be updated as needed.
To make matters worse, when Love was elbowed Tuesday night, the player responsible for the injury, Heat's Jordan Mickey, didn't even receive a flagrant foul. Love, however, was called for a blocking foul on the play.
