CLEVELAND — Cleveland Cavaliers’ forward Kevin Love proposed to his longtime girlfriend and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Kate Bock over the weekend.
On Sunday, Love announced their engagement on Instagram with a black and white photo of the two kissing captioned “Souls tend to go back to who feels like home.”
Sharing the same photo, Bock said, "Well, this was the best birthday surprise I could have ever imagined. I couldn't be happier to have been asked to be a Love. Heart bursting all day & night.”
Bock is no stranger to Cleveland as she frequently visits her fiance's home.
Love’s former teammates LeBron James and Tristan Thompson shared congratulatory messages. Food Network star and Cleveland native Michael Symon wrote “Congrats my man!”
Local doughnut spot Brewnuts responded to the sweet news saying, "Gah!!!!! some groom to be / bride to be letter dones [sic] are in order!!! Congrats friends!”
