CLEVELAND — Former NBA player Paul Pierce appeared on After the Buzzer and made some comments about how good Duke is playing and how bad the Cavaliers have been this season.
"They can beat Cleveland, you heard it here first," Pierce said.
He proceeded to say no one could stop Zion Williamson.
Pierce said Duke can't beat Kansas, another college team, but reiterated that they can beat the Cavs.
The Cavaliers are 9-39 this season. Duke is 15-2.
Cleveland is the last team in the NBA Eastern Conference and Duke is currently ranked number two in the AP college top 25.
We think he's still bitter after the Cavs beat the Boston Celtics the night that his jersey was retired.
