CLEVELAND — Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse has permanently converted two restrooms into all-gender facilities as part of the ongoing commitment by the Cavs, Monsters and the stadium to “foster an inclusive environment that is welcoming to everyone,” representatives said in a news release.
The restrooms will provide comfortable and convenient access to transgender and gender non-conforming guests, and to any guest who may require the assistance of a caregiver, parent or child of a different gender, the release states.
The restrooms are located near Portals 29-30 on the lower Street Level concourse and near Portals 58-59 on the FirstEnergy Loudville upper-level concourse.
There are still standard restrooms on each level of Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse - 22 men’s, 24 women’s and four family restrooms, as well as private restrooms in all 62 private suites.
