CLEVELAND — The dates and times are officially set for the Cleveland Brown’s four preseason games, three of which air on News 5. The schedule includes three games versus NFC North teams.
The Browns will open the preseason with road trips to Chicago and Green Bay. The third game is a nationally televised Aug. 30 match-up against Minnesota, where head coach Kevin Stefanski spent 14 seasons. The Browns close out the preseason against Tampa Bay, marking the fifth time in the last six years they have seen each other in the preseason.
"Playing three NFC North teams, they're teams that are really well-coached," Stefanski said in a news release. "I'm looking forward to the competition and looking forward to that piece of it. The preseason is such a huge part of our development, of our evaluation of our players when the young guys can get put under the lights. We're excited about those four games in the preseason."
