CLEVELAND — The Browns have placed defensive end Joe Jackson on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person.
The Browns are not permitted to comment on a player’s medical status other than referring to roster status and may not disclose whether a player is in quarantine or has tested positive for COVID-19, per the NFL and NFLPA policy.
Defensive end Myles Garrett will remain on the reserve/COVID-19 list for the second week in a row and has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In addition to Garrett, the Browns have two other players on the reserve/COVID-19 list—fullback Andy Janovich and guard Chris Hubbard. Head Coach Kevin Stefanksi said their status for Sunday has not yet been decided.
The Browns will learn more about the injuries and the status of the players on the reserve/COVID-19 list as the week continues.
