CLEVELAND — With just two days to go until the biggest Browns game in decades, fans are looking for any way to get some luck, including seeking out a piece of history.
Danny is a huge Browns fan, and he recovered a huge Browns flag from the old municipal stadium. In honor of the Browns’ Divisional Round playoff game against the Chiefs this Sunday, he raised it and flew the massive flag for everyone to see.
News 5 photojournalist Dave Colabine shows how Danny is turning that into a bonus for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Watch his story in the video player above.
Danny actually supported the food bank last week – he made a bet with a Steelers fan, with the loser having to jump into Lake Erie. The good sport that he is, Danny took the plunge anyway and raised nearly $2,000 for the food bank during the wager.
If you want to check out the flag in person, you can find it on Edgecliff Avenue in Cleveland’s West Park neighborhood.
