CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have placed tenders on two exclusive-rights free agents Friday—tight end Stephen Carlson and defensive end Porter Gustin.

Carlson has been with the Browns since signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2019, notching six receptions on nine targets, 62 yards and a touchdown. Carlson has played in 25 games and started in seven. The tight end has also made an impact on special teams for the Browns.

Gustin, who also signed with the Browns in 2019 after being waived by the New Orleans Saints, has recorded 43 tackles, 20 of which were solo, for the Browns. He made headlines in the postseason for an impressive interception against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs.

With the Browns placing tenders on the two, both Carlson and Gustin now have the option to sign their tender or sit out for the season.
