BEREA, Ohio — In the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Andrew Berry and the Cleveland Browns traded down for the second time Friday, taking Jordan Elliott with the 88th overall pick.
Elliott is a defensive tackle out of Missouri.
Last season the defensive tackle earned second-team Associated Press All-American honors after leading his team with 10 tackles for loss with three sacks among 44 total stops in 12 starts.
The Browns traded their 74th pick to the New Orleans Saints in return for the 88th overall pick and a future third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Browns also let go of their seventh round, 244th overall pick
Earlier in the evening the Browns selected safety Grant Delpit in the second round of the draft.
