The Cleveland Browns will be short a middle linebacker for "a little while" and a wide receiver for the rest of the season.
In Sunday's game against the Chargers, wide receiver Rod Streater suffered a stinger during the first play of the game.
Doctors diagnosed Streater with a neck fracture and said he will miss the remainder of the season.
The Browns said the injury does not require surgery and team doctors expect a full recovery.
Middle linebacker Joe Schobert suffered a hamstring injury during the third quarter of Sunday's game.
Coach Hue Jackson said he expects Schobert to be out for the foreseeable future.
“He’ll be down for a little while, how long that will be, we’ll see how that will all unfold,” Jackson said.
Schobert had 49 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception in six games.
