The Chiefs have traded Alex Smith to the Redskins, robbing the Browns of their chance at the Pro-Bowl quarterback.
Any trades involving Smith can't be completed until the first day of the new league year, according to The Kansas City Star, which is March 14.

Smith, 33, set career-highs this season in passing yards (4,042), touchdowns (26) and passer rating (104.7).
