CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns coach Freddie Kitchens used to sell cars in Tuscaloosa before becoming a football coach.

He is now using those skills to sell his team.

Kitchens says he is always upfront with people, even when he was on the line.

"I like just being straight up and honest with people. I mean you know you just gotta be able to call bull**** on some of it," Kitchens said. "I'd like to like tell you, 'I wouldn't buy this car for this much. Here's what we can give it to you for.'"

Kitchens time on the car lot may have taught him one of his favorite sayings.

"I tell these guys all the time the rear view mirror is smaller than the windshield," Kitchens.

Kitchens left his car salesman job after three months and hasn't looked back since.
