CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns released tackle Desmond Harrison, the organization announced Wednesday.
Harrison joined the Browns as an undrafted free agent last year and started eight games at left tackle. Harrison became the first rookie to start at left tackle for the Browns since Joe Thomas. Starter Greg Robinson replaced Harrison midway through last season.
On Tuesday, Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens said that Harrison missed a flight, which is why he was not at practice.
"Missed a flight or something. I am not sure really," Kitchens said. "I do not know. I have not got to the bottom of it yet. Missed a flight. I know he missed a flight. I do not know what time he got here so it is hard to tell how he got here.”
Anyway, the real story here is, your dad is right. Get to the airport at least three hours early. Because you never know.
