News 5’s draft coverage begins with the Cleveland Browns Draft Special at 7 p.m. Lauren Brill will be reporting live from Nashville, Derek Forrest will be live in Berea with Browns Coach Freddie Kitchens and General Manager John Dorsey, and Jon Doss will be at FirstEnergy Stadium with sports broadcaster Nathan Zegura and former Browns star Joe Thomas.

ABC coverage of Round 1 of the NFL Draft begins at 8 p.m. on News 5. The Arizona Cardinals hold the No. 1 overall pick in a first round headlined by Heisman-winning quarterback Kyler Murray, Nick Bosa and Ed Oliver.

Draft coverage continues at 7 p.m. on Friday on News 5 with rounds two and three. The second day of the NFL Draft features picks 33 through 102 overall as NFL teams continue to improve their rosters and address specific position needs. The Browns enter the draft holding the No. 49 pick, in the second round.

Coverage of the NFL Draft continues on Saturday beginning at noon on News 5 and is expected to run until 7 p.m.
