Browns RB Carlos Hyde is having a phenomenal week. Not only did the star player celebrate his 28th birthday on the same day the Browns won their first game since 2016, but the star player’s son was born Friday morning.

Hyde took to Twitter to announce he is the proud father of a baby boy named Carlos Hyde Jr.

Hyde was on baby watch Thursday night after having spent the day at the hospital. Labor was induced Wednesday night and there was the real possibility his child could have been born during the game against the New York Jets.

Hyde stayed at the hospital as long as he could before he made his way to the field before the big game. And Hyde really delivered — the RB ran for a combined 103 yards and two touchdowns that gave the Browns a 21-17 win over the Jets.

Hyde didn’t get the chance to celebrate the big win though, as soon as the game was over the RB headed straight back to the hospital, according to the Browns.

Friday morning Hyde tweeted “#Blessed.”

His son, Carlos Hyde Jr. weighs 8-pounds-11-ounces, according to Hyde’s tweet
