Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon announced on Twitter Monday that he will miss the beginning of training camp.
"Flash" told his fans in a thread of tweets that he will miss the beginning of the camp as part of his "overall health and treatment" plan.

Gordon said he is "excited to start the season" and has "every intention of being ready and available" to join his teammates.
The Associated Press said an NFL spokesperson confirmed Gordon is not suspended. There is no timetable for his return.

"We will continue to support Josh as he received the care needed to maintain his progress. We are going to respect his privacy while he is away from the team. Josh will be placed on the non-football illness reserve list until he is ready to return."
He didn't go into specifics about the nature of treatment he needs, but said he appreciates the support from teammates, friends, and fans.
