BEREA, Ohio — Akron's Archbishop Hoban High School will receive two new turf football fields thanks to a $250,000 grant by the Browns and the NFL Grassroots Program.

According to the Browns, the $250,000 is part of $3 million from the Browns, NFL Foundation and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation used to fund field refurbishments across the country.

The Browns said that their organization is "committed to assisting the development, safety and growth of youth and high school football throughout Northeast Ohio with year-round programming for players, coaches, officials and parents."

The team's goal is to "promote healthy, social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of youth by enhancing opportunities for youth football participation and education."
