CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb finished in first place among all AFC players at his position in the fan vote for the 2020 Pro Bowl.
Chubb pulled in 316,008 votes from the fans in a vote that accounts for one-third of the determining factors for making the Pro Bowl. Coach and player votes account for the other portion.
After rushing for 127 yards in Sunday’s loss against the Cardinals, Chubb sits atop the NFL with 1,408 yards on the season.
Chubb posted seven 100-yard games. He’s the only player in the league to amass at least 75 scrimmage yards in all 14 games this season.
In 2018, his 944 rushing yards set a Browns rookie record while his 1,145 scrimmage yards ranked second among all Cleveland rookies. His career highlights include being named a two-time NFL Pepsi Rooke of the Week and he was named NFL FedEx Ground Player of the Week in Week 10.
Chubb became the first player to record a rushing touchdown in five consecutive games since Greg Pruitt in 1975.
The 2020 Pro Bowl rosters will be announced on Tuesday.
