BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns are beginning their search for a new head coach after firing Freddie Kitchens Sunday evening and they already have a handful of candidates they are prepared to interview.

Several reports came out Monday naming candidates the Browns are considering.

Here are some of the potential head coaches the Browns are looking at:

Former Packers HC Mike McCarthy:

Patriots OC Josh McDaniels:

49ers DC Robert Saleh:

Ravens OC Greg Roman:

Vikings OC Kevin Stefanski and Saints DC Dennis Allen:

Bills OC Brian Daboll

The Browns’ search for the new head coach is in the earliest stages, so more names are expected to be considered and added to the list of candidates.

Baylor head coach Matt Rhule declined the chance for an interview for the Browns head coach position, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Rhule is expected to be a leading candidate for Giants' and Panthers' head coach positions.
