CLEVELAND — While they fell a few games short of making the playoffs last season, the Browns are finally emerging as possible contenders for a Super Bowl and not jokes of seasons past.

The Browns are now among six teams with 20-1 odds to win the Super Bowl next season, according to ESPN.

While those odds are not great by any means, at least we were mentioned as even having the slightest chance to make it to the biggest game in football.

The Browns trail behind the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears at 14-1 at the SuperBook.

With the Browns having showed much improvement in the second half of the season, in part because of rising star quarterback Baker Mayfield, Las Vegas sportsbooks are actually paying attention to what the Browns will become in the 2019 season.

In 2018, a record $158.5 million was bet on 2018's Super Bowl LII at Nevada sportsbooks, ESPN reports.

Super Bowl LIV will be held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Feb. 2, 2020.
