SAN FRANCISCO — Near the end of an abysmal first half, the 49ers added insult to injury to the Cleveland Browns.
Former Ohio State Buckeye Nick Bosa, now on the 49ers, took a shot at Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield after a late second-quarter sack.
On Saturday, September 9, 2017, Mayfield and the Oklahoma Sooners took on the Ohio State Buckeyes in a game that would be long-remembered among fans. The Sooners upset the Buckeyes in Ohio Stadium and to celebrate, Mayfield ran across the field with the Sooners flag and planted it in the center of the famous “O.”
Monday night, Bosa pretended to wave and then plant a flag on the field, mocking Mayfield's infamous gesture.
