Cleveland Gladiators announce two year hiatus due to transformation construction project at The Q

Posted

The transformation construction project at The Qucken Loans Arena has forced the Cleveland Gladiators to take a two year hiatus from the arena football league.

The Q will be closed in order to accommodate major construction elements of the project during the summers of 2018 and 2019, leaving the Gladiators with nowhere to play. Construction during both summers will begin immediately after Cavs' season.

The Gladiators expect to resume play in the 2020 season.
