COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State Buckeyes open their 2019 football season Saturday as they take on the Florida Atlantic Owls at Ohio Stadium.
This will be Ryan Day's first game as head coach after taking over for Ohio State legend Urban Meyer following his retirement. Day helped Ohio State jump from 44th to fifth nationally in passing efficiency, which led to a promotion as offensive coordinator and an interim coach role for the first three games of the 2018 season. He is Ohio State's 25th head coach.
The game will kickoff at 12 p.m.
