COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Cleveland St. Ignatius boys soccer team captured its 10th state championship Saturday night as they defeated New Albany 4-1 in the Division I State Final.
The Wildcats won their second straight soccer state championship and their third state crown brown since 2016 in their win at MAPFRE Stadium.
With the title win, the St. Ignatius boys soccer program now has the most in the state of Ohio.
Scoring for the Wildcats Saturday night was sophomore Nolan Spicer, senior Marko Rimac and junior Luciano Pechota.
The Wildcats ended the season undefeated, going 21-0-0.
