Ohio High School Athletic Association releases playoff brackets — see where your team is seeded

LAKEWOOD, Ohio — The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced playoff brackets and seeding positions for the football playoffs in this unusual and abbreviated season.

This is the first season that all teams could opt-in to the playoffs, starting Oct. 9.

The OHSAA said 664 schools decided to participate in the playoffs this season.

Lakewood St. Edward, Akron Archbishop Hoban, Avon, Massillon Perry, Chardon, Canal Fulton Northwest, Bellevue, and Kirtland are the local schools seeded number one in the playoffs.

Schedule

Divisions, I, II, III and VII will play on Friday nights. Divisions IV, V and VI will play on Saturday nights.

Tickets

Stadiums are only allowed to reach 15% capacity, and tickets will be available to purchase here.

State championship

The state championship will be played Nov. 13 with sites being announced at a later day.
