Record-setting Buckeyes quarterback Dwayne Haskins declares for NFL Draft

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Sophomore Dwayne Haskins Jr., the record-setting quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes, will skip his final years in Columbus and enter the 2019 NFL draft.

Haskins announced he was declaring for the draft in a heartfelt post on his Twitter account.

Haskins thanked his coaches, teammates, friends, family and fans for his experience at Ohio State.

Haskins is the school record holder and Big Ten record holder for passing yards and touchdown passes in a single season.

The NFL Draft begins on April 25 in Nashville, Tennessee. Many experts think he could be the top overall quarterback selected.
