GOODYEAR, Az. — The Cleveland Indians kicked off the spring training schedule with their opening game against the Cincinnati Reds and the first home run of the year goes to Tyler Naquin.
The Indians took the field in Goodyear, Arizona Saturday afternoon.
At the top of the second inning, Naquin hit a solo home run into right field, marking the first run, and first home run, of the season.

The Indians starting lineup in their first game of the season was announced on Friday.

The Indians and Reds ended the spring training opener in a tie, each scoring three runs in nine innings.
The Tribe opens the regular season on the road against the Minnesota Twins on March 28.
