LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that state Route 57 will close in August for several days as crews work to replace two culverts.
SR 57, just south of the Route 57/Route 83/Grafton-Eastern Road intersection will close on Aug. 3 as crews replace a culvert at the intersection and another culvert just south of Dellwood Road, ODOT said.
The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 14.
While the road is closed, ODOT provided the following detours for motorists in the area:
Northbound detour route: Route 57 to Route 303, west on Route 303 to Route 301, north on Route 301 to U.S. 20, east on U.S. 20 to Route 83, and south on Route 83 back to Route 57.
Southbound detour route: Route 57 to U.S. 20, west on U.S. 20 to Route 301, south on Route 301 to Route 303, and east on Route 303 back to Route 57.
