Flooding causes road closures across Northeast Ohio

Flooding across Northeast Ohio has left a popular store and several roads closed.

Grandpa’s Cheesebarn announced they would be closed Sunday due to flooding.

Police have also issued warnings that several roads around Northeast Ohio have been closed off due to the flooding:

  • Barber Road is closed from the Barberton Sports Complex to Morgan Avenue.
  • State Route 303 is closed from Jefferson Street to Stone Road, and crews are pumping water off of Seasons Road.
  • Flooding has been reported in the Hommon Road area of Ravenna, as well as on South Prospect Street near Ohio Avenue.

A flash flood watch is in effect for all of Northeast Ohio until June 18, according to the National Weather Service.
