CLEVELAND — Tuesday’s temperatures will be noticeably colder than the previous few days. A few snow showers are possible in the cold air Tuesday. But the set-up for heavy lake effect snow is just not there.
Highs will hold steady near freezing all day.
Lake effect snow will begin in Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon through tonight where the snowbelt could expect to get minor accumulations.
Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula counties can expect up to 1 to 3 inches in some places.
Throughout the night, temps will continue to plunge into the teens and low-20s.
When you wake up on Wednesday, temps will stay cold with highs barely touching 30 degrees.
